Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Chairs National ‎Research Center Board of Directors Meeting

The Board of Directors of the National Research Center held a meeting via videoconference on Tuesday noon, chaired by Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and attended by Dr. Yasser Rifat, Deputy Minister for Scientific Research Affairs, Dr. Walid Al-Zawawi, Secretary of the Council of Research Centers, Institutes and Authorities, Dr. Muhammad Hashem, President of the National Research Center, and Board members.

At the beginning of the meeting, the minister pointed out the importance of the role that the National Research Center plays in the field of scientific research, as well as the importance of upgrading scientific and research level of the center and creating an atmosphere of creativity and competition for its scientific and research cadres.

Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar stressed the importance of taking decisions at the current stage in line with the general trend and requirements of the age so that the public interest can be achieved in accordance with the state plan for sustainable development and goals of scientific research in Egypt.

The meeting discussed a number of issues related to the affairs of research community members related to promotions and appointments.
