The council discussed the technical and administrative arrangements and procedures for a number of sporting events, including: the launch of the Football League for Egyptian universities and higher institutes for the current academic year, the University Youth Week to be held next year at Helwan University, and Egypt's hosting of the World Universities Handball Championship during 2024 in cooperation with the Arab Academy.
