The Administrative Capital will host the seventh Cairo International Exhibition for Innovation next month

Prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced the seventh Cairo International Exhibition for Innovation, which is organized by the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, and will be held next month in the New Administrative Capital, under the generous patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and with a large international presence, noting that this guest of honor of this edition is Portugal.

For his part, Prof. Mahmoud Saqr, President of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, said that the exhibition will witness this year hundreds of innovations and inventions from Egypt and the world, and many workshops, conferences, specialized forums, training programs and marketing meetings will be organized, and lectures will be held for senior experts in the field of innovation management, technology marketing and intellectual property.

Prof. Mahmoud Saqr said that the Cairo International Innovation Fair, which has been organized by the Academy annually since 2014, has become a destination for innovators and inventors in Egypt and the region, and is on the list of international exhibitions, explaining that the exhibition aims to provide an opportunity for innovators and inventors from all over the world to display their innovations in the largest regional market for innovation.

Prof. Mahmoud Saqr said that the exhibition is one of the executive mechanisms that the Academy adopts to explore for innovations that it can adopt and embrace until it reaches a final product bearing the "Made in Egypt" label. It is also a technology marketing mechanism in cooperation with the Egyptian Innovation Bank and the Academy's Technology Marketing Company affiliated with the Academy.

It is worth noting that the exhibition has been honored by the generous patronage of the President of the Republic since its launch in 2014. Previous versions of it were held in the Greek Campus in Tahrir, the Baron Palace, Salah al-Din Citadel, and the International Convention and Exhibition Center. The New Administrative Capital will host the seventh edition of the exhibition this year.
